POST CONGRESS ITINERARIES
Second Itinerary 18 - 23 September

After the end of the Congress, there will be two trips with different itineraries (transport will be by luxury coach). The visits are an integral part of the congress and will be accompanied by explanatory talks at the sites visited. The itineraries will enable participants to perceive the specific nature and variety in terms of territory, sector and time of the long process of industrialization in Italy. The itineraries take in ancient areas of manufacture, protoindustrial manufacturing centres and sites of modern industrialization. They focus mainly on the textiles, shipbuilding, steel, mechanical, and chemical sectors and on the most significant experiences in re use and promotion of the industrial heritage.

The second itinerary, which is longer (with the possibility of an early end to the tour on 21 September), will take place from the afternoon of 18 September to the evening of 23 September, and will follow an itinerary that takes in the major industrial centres and art cities of Italy:

	Florence Monday 18th afternoon Departure from Terni at the end of the Congress. Visit to Florence. Buffet and hotel accommodation in Prato
	Prato Tuesday 19th morning Visit to Prato end to the Textile Museum
	Bologna Tuesday 19th morning Buffet in Bologna and visit to the Industrial Heritage Museum.
	Casalecchio Tuesday 19th morning Visit to the “Chiusa di Casalecchio”. Transfer and hotel accommodation in Venice-Mestre.
	Venice Wednesday 20th morning Visit to the Venice Arsenal, to the Stucky Mill and to the Sea Station. Buffet.
	Schio Wednesday 20th afternoon Visita alla mostra sul Piano di Recupero dell'area ex Lanerossi di Schio allestita a palazzo Fogarazzo. Visita all'Area Lenerossi-Conte (Lanificio Conte e Roggia Maestra, Asilo Rossi, Fabbrica Alta, Giardino Jacquard) e sight-seeing in pulmann all'interno del Nuovo Quartiere "A. Rossi" (soste presso Lanificio Cazzola e presso varie tipologie di abitazioni). Partenza per Valdagno, visite guidate e cena in loco. Dopo cena, rientrando in pulmann a Schio per il pernottamento, passaggio in Piazza A. Rossi per vedere il "Monumento al tessitore".
	Valdagno Wednesday 20th afternoon Dinner to Valdagno.
	Tavernole sul Mella Thursday 21st morning Departure to Brescia and visit to Tavernole
	Dalmine Thursday 21st morning Lunch and visit to Dalmine.
	Crespi d'Adda Thursday 21st afternoon Visit to Crespi d’Adda
	Sesto San Giovanni -Milano Thursday 21st afternoon Visit to Sesto San Giovanni. Dinner and hotel accommodation in Milan. Possible exit from the tour
	Pray Friday 22nd morning Visit to the “Fabbrica della Ruota” in Pray. Buffet.
	Biella Venerdì 22 pomeriggio Visita al Lanificio Pria di Biella.
	Turin Friday 22nd morning Visit to the “Lingotto” complex in Turin and hotel accommodation.
	Genoa Saturday 23rd morning Visit to the ancient port of Genoa (Cotton Docks, Aquarius, Galata Museum, “Gru Maestrale”) Buffet
