ICSIM
With the constitution and the functioning of all it’s social organs, the year 1995 was the beginnig of the concrete activities of ICSIM. The regular opening of the courses of the "school of high formation in Economy and Business History" took place in 1996. From the 3rd march 1997, the school courses are taking place in the Villalago building, property of the Province of Terni. The 3rd of march 1999, in Villalago, the lessons of the fourth cycle of "the School of high formation in Economy and Business History" have begun. For the regional reality and for the Terni territory, ICSIM is a great opportunity and a great challange for youth formation, for promotion and diffusion of Business culture, for the guardianship and valorization of the industrial heritage. The ambition of the excecutive board and of the scientific committee toghether with the founder members, is to create out of ICSIM a resource for the development and the growth of the Umbria and Terni community. The aim of the Institute is to be a qualified and authoritative interlocutor for the local institutions, with the productive world of work and cultural institutions, able to look over the borders of our region. The members have approved the new statute during the assembly of the 21st march 1997. With this important change ICSIM has open to the scientific contribution and collaboration of cultural institutions, universities and privates. During the assembly of the 6th february 1998, the members assembly has renewed the social organs that will remain in charge for the following period 1998-2000. The members assembly of the 19th february 1999, has decided that ICSIM will be joined by the Association of Industrials of the Terni Province and of AIPA (Italian Association for the heritage of industrial archeology) as ordinary members. From march 1999, ICSIM is part of TICCIH (The International Committee for the conservation of the Industrial Heritage).
